HES Technology

Master Flo’s High Erosion Service (HES) Technology was developed to handle the most erosive conditions at the well site. Our most powerful extreme service choke, the Master Flo HES is designed to weather and withstand — creating greater ROI and significantly outlasting the competition. By combining our industry leading E-Series Trim, our patented 5CB Carbide, and engineered geometry, we have developed the most robust choke on the market.

Operational Benefits
  • Used for extremely harsh, sandy, and erosive conditions
  • Balanced and unbalanced options
  • Offered in angle body
  • Forged body and bonnet
  • Patented 2 row 4 port equal percentage trim
  • Robust outlet protection with extended tungsten carbide outlet sleeve
  • Highly field serviceable
Safety and Environmental Benefits
  • Protects personnel, capital assets, and environment from failures to atmosphere
  • Minimize service requirements and potential exposure to process
Financial Benefits
  • Minimize lost production due to unplanned downtime
  • Reduced maintenance costs
  • Lowered operation costs
Technical Standards
  • Covered under the API 6A and NACE standards

XP Technology

Designed for performance driven oil and gas producers, the Master Flo XP Extreme Service Choke Valve is a robust, reliable, and field serviceable solution that manages challenging production demands throughout the life cycle of wells.

Adding to the unequalled erosion control of our highly successful E-Series severe service platform, the
new Master Flo XP Choke Valve mitigates the damages caused by velocity during the initial production phase of the well, and addresses the demands on production efficiencies through the later stages.

Operational Benefits
  • Leave in place solution through the life cycle of the well
  • Field convertible Master Flo trim options throughout the life cycles of the well
    • Extreme velocity and erosion mitigation during the initial production phase
    • Unparalleled controllability and erosion control through mid-life
    • Optimized flow rates with minimized pressure drop for at later stages
  • Robust outlet protection with tungsten carbide removeable outlet sleeve
  • Highly field serviceable
Safety and Environmental Benefits
  • Protects personnel, capital assets, and environment from failures to atmosphere
  • Minimize service requirements and potential exposure to process
Financial Benefits
  • Minimize lost production due to unplanned downtime
  • Reduced maintenance costs
  • Lowered operation costs
