P3 NGX

Built from your feedback.
Engineered for longer runs.

The next generation of Master Flo's most trusted production choke. Re-engineered around customer-driven improvements that extend run time, reduce wear, and cut downtime.

Why we built it

When we asked our customers what they wanted from a next-generation P3, the answers were consistent: make it last longer between services, hold shut-in tighter, and make it easier to work on.

The P3 NGX is the answer to that brief, every change is traceable to something an operator told us they needed.

What's new

Lower inlet velocities

Improved annular geometry reduces velocity where erosion concentrates. Less wear, longer trim life.

Better flow management

Greater external sleeve overlap at full-open improves impingement and flow control, extending service intervals.

Extended shut-in capability

Expanded deadband drives upstream flow further from the seat providing better shut-in between services.

Full-length Tungsten Carbide outlet wear sleeve

Verified to dissipate turbulent flow inside the sleeve, protecting the body.

Fast-acting close

Designed for fast-acting control on 24VDC linear electric actuation.

Canister-style insert

Fully pinned, easily removed from the body. Reduce service time, get back to production.

CSS stem seal with secondary backup

Primary CSS stem seal paired with a new secondary seal — added redundancy and reduced fugitive emissions.

Standard I/O dimensions

Consistent face-to-face across 3" and 4" configurations — drop-in ready for your existing footprint.
